PURPOSE: A mouse of a personal computer is provided to reduce a fatigue of a hand or an arm by varying a magnetic current intensity by an operation of the thumb, thereby moving the cursor by a magnetic intensity quantity. CONSTITUTION: A mouse(10) has a scroll key(S3) comprising an executing key(S1) for executing a cursor on a screen of a personal computer, a shortening menu key(S2), and a photo coupler(PH-C) for moving a screen in the upper and lower directions. A cursor moving unit moves the cursor by changing magnetic current intensity by one side surface of the mouse(10) and an operation of the thumb. An operation confirming unit confirms an operation of the mouse(10) by an identifying card. The elements of the cursor moving unit are described as follows. A ball stick(11) has an elastic body being provided at the left side surface of the mouse(10) and the interior thereof and a magnetic body being provided at the end of the mouse(10). A hall element generates magnetic current corresponded to a rotating operation of the ball stick(11). A CPU senses the magnetic current intensity being generated from the hall element and outputs the corresponding electric signal in accordance with the sensed magnetic current intensity to the personal computer through a mouse cable. |
