DRAIN PUMP FIX STRUCTURE OF A WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: Fixing structure of a drain pump in a washing machine is provided to exactly fix the drain motor though screw slots are shrunken and transformed at a cooling operation by protruding bosses having the screw slots and to improve the quality of the washing machine by variably fixing the drain motor according to an assembling position of the drain pump. CONSTITUTION: A drain pump(60) is fixed under an outer case with many fixing members. Many bosses(62b) having screw slots(62a) and a drain motor(66) to be fixed in the bosses(62b) with fixing screws(64) are protruded in a pump case(62) in the drain pump(60). Two through holes(66a) are formed in the drain motor(66) to be penetrated through the fixing screws(64). Fixing protrusions(68) are protruded in the pump case(62) to tighten the fixing members. A filter inlet portion(70) to be inserted a filter is arranged in the pump case(62). An inlet(72) is protruded in the pump case(62) to flow in washing water by connecting with a drain slot of a washing tub and a first drain hose. An outlet(74) is protruded in the pump case(62) to drain the washing water by connecting with a second drain hose(52). Thereby, the drain motor is exactly fixed though the screw slots are transformed and variably fixed according to an assembling position of the drain pump.
