The memory stores a program (19) to cause the processor to determine a first rate at which a slope of a surface (40) changes near a first point (46a) of the surface and based on the determination, select a second point (46b) of the surface. The program (19) further causes the processor (12) to tessellate at least a portion the surface (40) based on the first and second points (46) to form at least one polygon and cause the display (14) to form said at least one polygon on the display to represent at least a portion of an image of the surface (40). |
