The present invention is embodied generally in an extruder for dispensing multiple layers of a comestible material. The extruder is preferably of the rotary type and comprises at least two delivery channels, each channel adapted to provide a continuous flow of comestible material. The channels connect to at least one chamber network adapted to align and assemble the comestible materials from the at least two delivery channels. An opening dispenses a unit of comestible wherein the unit includes at least two layers of comestible material. |
