发明名称 DEODORIZING APPARATUS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an effective deodorant effect and to provide a renewable deodorizing apparatus which can resist long-term use by physically absorbing an offensive odor constituent such as mainly acetaldehyde gas at an absorbent in a light-catalyst deodorizing layer and by separately providing a second deodorizing layer for mainly absorbing and deodorizing offensive odor hard to be absorbed and deodorized. SOLUTION: A ventilating fan 13 absorbs contaminated air and supplies purified air into a room. A light-catalyst layer 12 is formed like a honeycomb shape or the like by mixing material which is positioned adjacent to ultraviolet lamp 11 in a passage, is excited by irradiation of ultraviolet rays, and displays strong oxidizing power, with high silica zeolite as absorptive material. A second deodorizing layer 15 formed of normal temperature oxidizing catalyst including manganese oxide excellent in ability for absorbing and resolving sulfurous odor is disposed at a lower stream side from the light-catalyst layer. A nitrogen oxidized substance such as acetaldehyde as the beginning in an offensive odor constituent in contaminated air is absorbed by the light-catalyst layer 12 in the first deodorizing layer and is resolved and oxidized. Nitrogen offensive odor is passed without being absorbed, and is absorbed and resolved at the second deodorizing layer 15.
