PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display management information on a device which is linked to a network at a high speed in real time. SOLUTION: The managing method for a network device which uses SNMP (simple network management protocol) specifies a device in the network to be managed, generates a command for setting or obtaining its management information (S101), sets or obtains the management information of the device (S104, S105, and S107), and displays the set or obtained result out in specific format as management information of the device (S106).
