PURPOSE: A method for transmitting/receiving an e-mail without limit of capacity is provided to increase the convenience of a user by providing a plug-in module to an e-mail receiving server, and by directly transmitting e-mail data to the e-mail receiving server without passing through a mail box in case that the user's computer is turned on. CONSTITUTION: A plug-in module is installed in a mail server in order to confirm whether a PC is turned on(51). In case that e-mail is received(52), the plug-in module judges whether the PC receives the e-mail(53). In case that the PC can receive the e-mail, the mail is promptly transmitted to the PC(56). In case that the PC can't receive the e-mail, the mail is transmitted to and stored in a mail box(54). The plug-in module periodically judges whether the PC is turned on. In case that the PC is turned on, the plug-in module transmits the e-mail stored in the mailbox to the user's PC(55).
