PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film which is excellent in antistatic properties, is wound up in a good shape, and is produced at a high productivity. SOLUTION: This biaxially oriented polyester film is produced from a resin composition which mainly comprises a polyester and a polyamide and contains an antistatic agent having a sulfo or sulfonate group.
