PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant compressor capable of preventing the contact of a balancer with a lead wire and reducing the number of constituent parts and having high reliability. SOLUTION: This refrigerant compressor is provided with a compression mechanism part, an electric mechanism part, a main shaft, the balancer, a power supply terminal, and n lead wires. The n lead wires coming out of a connection part are fixed and supported by a binding string while all of the n lead wires adhere closely on an upper end face of a coil end without overlapping in a section having a predetermined length. In the next section having a predetermined length, (n-1) lead wires other than the lead wire on an outer side are fixed and supported by a binding string while they adhere closely to the upper end face of the coil end without overlapping, and the lead wire on the outer side is taken out to the outer side of the coil end. These procedures are repeated sequentially. Lastly, one lead wire on an inner side only is taken out to the outer side of the coil end from a point where it is fixed and supported to the upper end face of the coil end by a binding string.
