PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silica-containing curable mix for producing tire tread ply especially for tire of passenger car. SOLUTION: This silica-containing curable rubber mix is characterized in that the mix comprises at least one crosslinkable unsaturated polymer base, a reinforcing filler containing carbon black and silica and an inorganic salt, the cationic part of the inorganic salt is selected from the group consisting of Na+, Li+, Mg++, K+ or their combinations, the anionic part of the inorganic salt is selected from the group consisting of Cl-, SO4--, CO3-- and PO4--- or their combinations, >=48 wt.% of the reinforcing filler-salt amount is determined by the carbon black-salt amount and at least 30 wt.% of the reinforcing filler-salt amount is determined by carbon black.
