PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starting control device which does not require that an engine starting switch is continuously pushed when starting an engine and is repeatedly pushed under situation that the engine is hardly turned on. SOLUTION: This engine starting control device starts the engine by driving a starter motor 51 when the engine starting switch 10 is operated. In the case that time when the engine starting switch 10 is operated is less than a first operating time, the starter motor 51 is continuously driven for a predetermined time until the engine is started. In the case that time when the engine starting switch 10 is operated is not less than a second operating time, the starter motor 51 is continuously driven until the engine is started while the engine starting switch 10 is operated.
