PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical diagnostic imaging apparatus for generating indication voice with vocal quality to be easily caught by a subject by considering that the frequency range of sound to be caught by an elderly person is low. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a voice data storage part for storing voice data with a predetermined content through the use of not less than two different kinds of vocal quality (male voice and female voice); and a subject information storage part for storing information concerning the subject. The voice data with one kind of vocal quality among the voice data with not less than two different kinds of vocal quality stored in the voice data storage part is selected and read, based on the information stored in the subject information storage part (e.g., an age).
