PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the leg body structure for a shape variable table, which is inexpensive in terms of equipment and by which a minimum number of usage members are required, a layout is easily changed, a simple structure is provided, and an assembling work is advantageously performed. SOLUTION: Upper and lower leg constituting members 11, 21 are connected on the same axis in upper and lower connection parts 31a, 31b for holding between them an outward flange part 31c having a washer function in a connection member 31 for a turning center. Then the turning center of adjacent table legs 1 is correctly centered. One end sides of right and left crosspieces 2, 2 are fixed to the upper and lower leg constituting members 11, 21 for holding between them the connection member 31 for the turning center at finger catch evading distance L. Accordingly, even when the right and left crosspieces 2, 2 are folded so as to be vertically overlapped with a certain table leg 1 as a center in the case of shipping or disassembling, a finger is prevented from being caught by forming a finger catch evading space S between the crosspieces 2, 2 to be in vertical relationship.
