PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fraudulent opening prevention mechanism for board cases which can prevent the fraudulence against control boards with a simpler structure. SOLUTION: In this fraudulent opening prevention mechanism 100 for the board cases, a body side engaging part 110 is put on a lid side engaging part 120 facing each other, a body side connection member 130 is engaged with a connection member engaging part 141 of a lid side connection member 140 to link the body side engaging part 110 to the lid side engaging part 120 so that the separation of the body side connection member 130 and the lid side connection member 140 from the body side engaging part 110 and the lid side engaging part 120 is regulated to keep a case lid member mounted on a case body member. A connection member link part 159 is cut off to release the linkage of the connection member engaging part 141 with a holding part 151, thereby enabling the removal of the case lid member from the case body member.
