PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare printing data and embroidery data with consistency in the output size and output position, convertible so that the region suitable for the embroidery based on image data is embroidered and the other regions are printed. SOLUTION: When a special color of an embroidery thread is specified (S11) and the output size and output position of image data are specified (S12), a pixel region constituting the image data is set as a special color region to be embroidered by an embroidery sewing machine or as a printed region to be printed by an ink-jet printer (S13). Embroidery data are prepared by special color based on the pixel region set as the special color region (S14). The embroidery data by each special color are synthesized as one embroidery data (S15). Printing data are prepared based on the pixel region set as the printed region (S16). The embroidery data and the printing data are edited as printing embroidery data (S17).
