PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep constant levels of wobble signals extracted from a recording region, a reproduction-exclusive region and a non-recording/non-reproduction region respectively formed to meander in an optical recording medium.
SOLUTION: In a DVD-RW, a groove track is formed to meander for a groove where recording information is recorded, and the non-recording/non-reproduction region and the reproduction-exclusive region in charge of preventing illegal copying are arranged by a pit column in which a plurality of phase bits meander. Then, by setting a pit depth (groove depth), the duty of the pit column and a wobbling amplitude in respective regions by prescribed conditions, the output levels of wobble signals extracted on the basis of the wobbling amplitude are kept constant in the respective regions. Thus, highly accurate synchronization control is performed at the time of reproduction of the DVD-RW.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
