<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing over rotation of wind power generators adapted to configure an eddy current brake for preventing over rotation of wind mill, without having a voltage and electric current detection means for detecting DC output power, and a power converter control means for delivering surplus power to an exciting coil 14 with the reduced price of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a wind power generator for converting AC output of a permanent magnet electric generator to DC output by a rectifier, an apparatus for preventing over rotation of wind power generators includes a disk-shaped rotor that connects a reactor in series to the AC output side of the permanent magnet electric generator, connects the rectifier to an opposite permanent magnet electric generator side of the reactor, connects a rectifier for eddy current in parallel with the reactor to a connection point of the permanent magnet electric generator and the reactor, connects a constant voltage circuit in series to a DC output side of the rectifier for eddy current, connects an exciting coil in series to the constant voltage circuit, and is excited by the exciting coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
