A method for preparing an injection which contains Ginkgo extracts comprises (a) dissolving 1 wt. part of Ginkgo extract and 0.1-10 wt. parts of a solution velocity increasing agent selected from povidone, mannitol, sorbitol, white sugar, glucose, dextrose or xylitol with 20-1,000 wt. parts of distilled water; (b) filtrating the resultant and refrigerating the obtd. residual solution at -10 deg.C or below; (c) drying it under reduced pressure to obtain powder; and (d) preparing an alkali soln. of pH 8-13 as a solvent which may be added into the powder to obtain an injection of pH 6.0-7.5.
