PURPOSE:To suppress heat conduction from a fixing unit to another member. CONSTITUTION:The heat emitted from a heat roller 37 raises the temp. of an aluminum plate 41, which warms the air in a flow path 44 having a high hermeticity. The warmed air rises with the natural convection effect and is exhausted from an exhaust slit 46 to outside of the body 20 of printer. The air at room temp. flows into the flow path 44 from a suction slit 45, and the temp. of the aluminum plate 41 sinks. |
