PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain Japanese-style confection by wrapping a bean-jam part of seasoned boiled glutinous rice with a wrapping skin part. SOLUTION: The Japanese-style confection is obtained by wrapping the bean-jam part with the wrapping skin part. The bean-jam part is obtained by seasoning boiled glutinous rice with sugar. The product obtained by seasoning boiled glutinous rice with sugar is used for the bean-jam part, so it is possible to excellently impregnate glutinous rice with sweetness of sugar and obtain unexpectedness unlike strained bean jam and comfortable palate feeling owing to stickiness of boiled glutinous rice.
