PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip control device for a lock-up clutch, capable of surely preventing hunting in a slip region while allowing overshoot during stepping on an accelerator pedal. SOLUTION: The slip control device sets a first target value from the operated condition of a vehicle and determines whether an actual slip amount tends to increase or not when the actual slip amount of the lock-up clutch exceeds the first target value. It updates a target value to be a second target value which rises at an increasing rate lower than an actual slip increasing rate when determining that the actual slip amount tends to increase and which gradually approximates the first target value when determining that the actual slip amount tends to decrease. It resets the target value to be the first target value when the actual slip amount drops down to the first target value after exceeding the first target value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
