<p>The protective grid has radially mounted support webs (1) and is connectable to the ventilator. The support webs are made from closed wire loops bent U-shaped at their inner ends so that two ends (5,7) are hair-pin shaped and at least the inner end (7) of the webs is flattened. The cross-section of the two parallel arms of the support webs at the flattened end is the same as the output cross-section of the arms of the support web. Independent claim describes method for manufacturing grid by making the support webs as closed loops with the two wire ends butt-joined together so that the two ends have a hairpin shape.</p> |
