GAME MACHINE WITH MUSIC TEMPO DISCRIMINATING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of reflecting the music tempo to be reproduced with music reproducing signals output from a music player on the control of games.

SOLUTION: The game machine comprises a tempo discriminating part 30 to discriminate the tempo of the music to be reproduced based on the integration value of the low-frequency component of a music reproducing signal from the music player; a reproducing signal output part 5 to output the music reproducing signal to the outside; and a game control part 31 to control a game to evaluate the input operation to an input button 6 based on the tempo discriminated by the tempo discriminating part 30. The game control part 31 comprises an evaluation part 31a to evaluate the tempo based on the degree of matching between the tempo discriminated by the tempo discriminating part 31 and the tempo signal obtained by the input operation of the input button 6, and a display control part 31b to display the image according to the evaluation in a display part 3.
