<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable compact device displaying a correct secret code number or the like only when a person is a user him/herself when the secret code number or the like is forgotten. <P>SOLUTION: This secret code number or the like confirmation device has a display part of the secret code number or the like, and a fingerprint sensor. When making the fingerprint sensor read fingerprint information, it is collated with fingerprint information previously registered in the device, and the genuine secret code number or the like is displayed only when two sides agree. When the two sides disagree, a pseudo-number copying the secret code number or the like is generated and displayed. Even if failing in denial of the fingerprint information of a third party of illegal use to display the secret code number or the like, the pseudo-number is displayed in response to even the fingerprint information except the genuineness at all times, so that the third party side does not have a method for knowing genuineness/falseness of the secret code number or the like to certainly prevent an outflow of the secret code number or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
