<p>An air conditioner system and a method for operating the same are provided to cope with a weather change promptly by resetting operation temperatures of a plurality of indoor units in accordance with a detected outdoor temperature to maintain the optimum air conditioning environment. An air conditioner includes a plurality of indoor units(30) and a plurality of outdoor units(20). A temperature sensor(40) is connected with the plurality of outdoor units for measuring an outdoor temperature. A central controller(10) controls set temperatures of the plurality of indoor units in accordance with the outdoor temperature detected by the temperature sensor. The central controller includes a memory storing indoor unit information and outdoor unit information, a communication module exchanging data with the indoor units and the outdoor units, and a control part resetting operation temperatures of the indoor units in accordance with a preliminarily set temperature compensation value by using the outdoor temperature data.</p> |
