<p>PURPOSE:To provide a control device for a continuously variable transmission to keep a deceleration feeling in a constant state regardless of the presence of fuel cut and to improve a running feeling. CONSTITUTION:During deceleration (during engine brake deceleration) wherein a throttle opening is O, injection of fuel from a fuel injection valve 29 is stopped in principle by means of an engine control unit CU2, an engine brake effect is enhanced, and fuel consumption performance is improved. When the number of revolutions of an engine (the primary number of revolutions) is reduced to a value lower than the fuel return number of revolutions, injection of fuel is re-started and the target primary number of revolutions (a change gear ratio) is corrected to the LOW side. The decrease of an engine brake owing to the restarting of fuel injection and the increase of an engine brake owing to the increase of a change gear ratio are offset with each other and a constant deceleration feeling is produced regardless of the presence of fuel cut.</p> |
