IODINE-CONTAINING FINE FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine fiber having excellent bactericidal and antibacterial functions on being used as a filtering element. SOLUTION: The iodine-containing fine fiber is produced by preparing a resin solution using an iodine complexed water-soluble resin including prepared iodine complexed resin material having bactericidal and antibacterial functions, and electrospinning by using the solution. That is, the iodine-containing fine fiber is obtained by the electrospinning of the iodine complexed water-soluble resin-containing composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
