PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus capable of reducing load applied to a suction means by effectively demonstrating liquid holding ability of absorber provided in a liquid acceptor arranged so that its inner base is tilted with respect to a horizontal surface. SOLUTION: A printer 10 includes: a recording head 21; a flushing box 111 capable of receiving ink jetted from the recording head 21 as waste ink; the absorber 88d housed in the flushing box 111 and absorbing and holding the ink; and a suction pump 29 sucking the ink held by the absorber 88d so as to discharge it to the outside of the flushing box 111. A level difference part 113 is provided in the flushing box 111 so as to form gathering parts 104 and 105 where the ink is easily relatively gathered as compared with other parts in the absorber 88d at a plurality of positions different positionally in a gravity direction in the absorber 88d when the inner base 110 is arranged to be tilted with respect to the horizontal surface.
