<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion composition which has the high pigment dispersibility and dispersion stability and is excellent in the color characteristics; a photocurable composition which is excellent in the developability and in the surface smoothness on the pixels and also is capable of giving a high contrast; and a color filter which is good in the color characteristics and forms a high contrast. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion composition contains a polymer compound (A) which has one or more kinds of partial structures selected from a lactone structure and an acid anhydride structure, and has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-100,000, and also has a block type, a graft type or an end modification type of a structure, and a pigment (B); the photocurable composition contains the above pigment dispersion composition, an alkali-soluble resin, a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator; and the color filter is formed by using the above photocurable composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
