<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate material which is particularly suitable to exposure with a laser beam having an emission wavelength of 350 to 450 nm and excellent in storage stability with high sensitivity, prevents sludge in developing, and thus provides a planographic printing plate with less ink contamination of a non-image part in printing. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive planographic printing plate material having, on a support, a photosensitive layer containing (A) a sensitizing dye, (B) a polymerizable ethylenic double bond-containing compound, (C) a polymerization initiator and (D) a polymeric binder.
