<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which achieves high transmission efficiency while ensuring a high anti-noise property. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of terminals share a transmission media and communicate with each other over a transmission line L. The transmission terminals As is so configured as to switch over between a plurality of data transmission methods with different anti-noise properties and transmission efficiencies. The transmission terminal As estimates the noise environment on the transmission media, based on a predetermined index to judge whether data transmission is not performed owing to noise existing on the transmission media. When the noise environment is worse than a predetermined reference level, the transmission terminal As performs communications by the data transmission method with a high anti-noise property out of the plurality of data transmission methods, and when the noise environment is better than the predetermined reference level, the transmission terminal As performs communications by the data transmission method with a high transmission efficiency with suppressed redundancy out of the plurality of data transmission methods. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
