<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system allowing a wireless resource to be used in another wireless terminal by temporarily bringing a wireless terminal with communication suspended into a dormant state. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless LAN system is structured such that an access point device (AP) previously stores a dormant flag by relating it to address information of a wireless terminal (STA) having completed an LAN connection procedure, stores the operation state of the STA as a dormant state by the dormant flag when receiving a dormant request from the STA, transmits, when receiving a packet to the STA, a dormant termination request to the STA with the received packet stored in a memory when the dormant flag of the destination STA exhibits a dormant state, and changes over the dormant flag to an active state in receiving a reply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
