FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to agricultural engineering, particularly to machines for gathering bast fibre. The drum comprises a frame with protective covers, in the middle of which is mounted a pulley, encircled by a belt, with spring loaded pickup fingers on its side walls. The pickup fingers are fixed on the side walls of the pulley on fixed pintles. On the upper part of the protective covers, opposite the pickup fingers, there are rollers, which serve to bend the fingers backwards when footstalks are moved by the drum to the belt. ^ EFFECT: more reliable operation of the drum and improved quality of bast fibre gathered by the belt. ^ 2 dwg |
