Client also includes redirector (RDR) while server includes server application (SA). RDR receives request for remote transaction file operation. In response, RDR retrieves transaction from request. RDR can use TM to execute transaction marshalling for transmission to server. RDR sends transaction to server over network. SA component receives transaction which is subsequently used by server TA and FS to execute file operation.
