PURPOSE:To prevent interruption of talking at channel changeover by allowing a mobile equipment resident in an adjacent area to reserve a communication channel based on a result of comparison of radio wave levels in an exchange station. CONSTITUTION:A reception means 4 for adjacent area mobile equipment acquisition in a base station 2 acquires a mobile equipment resident in an adjacent area, and a radio wave level measurement means 5 measures a radio wave level of the acquired mobile equipment 1. Then a radio wave level comparison means 7 in an exchange station 3 compares the result of measurement of radio wave levels of base stations 2, and when the mobile equipment 1 moves between areas, the mobile equipment 1 resident in an adjacent area reserves a talking channel based on the result of measurement of radio wave levels by the exchange station 3. Talking interruption at channel changeover is prevented by allowing the mobile equipment resident in an adjacent area to secure an idle channel in advance when the mobile equipment 1 moves to the adjacent area. |
