摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional position information acquisition method and device that can efficiently detect an amount of deviation from a focused position of an observed object even when the amount of deviation therefrom corresponds to a smaller amount than depth of field, and has high resolving power in an optical axis direction.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional position information acquisition method and device have: a first acquisition process of acquiring a picture of a first image; a second acquisition process of acquiring a picture of a second image subsequent to the first acquisition process; and a process of performing a prescribed computation using picture data on the first image and picture data on the second image, and the first acquisition process is executed based on a light flux having passed through a first area, and the second acquisition process is executed based on a light flux having passed through a second area. In an in-plane orthogonal to an optical axis of an optical system, both of a center position of the first area and a center position of the second area are apart from the optical axis, and the first area and the second area have at least areas that are not mutually superposed. In the prescribed computation, three-dimensional position information on the observed object is calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
