Disclosed are a mobile terminal, and a method and recording medium for driving the mobile terminal, which remove inconvenience in which a remote control device of an electronic apparatus needs to be separately carried, and which provide convenience regarding the remote control device. A sensor unit detects a motion of a mobile terminal. A display unit displays a graphic user interface (GUI) related to functions of a mouse. A user interface unit detects a user action on the displayed GUI. A control unit generates movement information adapted to control motion of a mouse pointer of an electronic apparatus based on the detected motion, and generates control information adapted to control the electronic apparatus based on the detected user action. A communication unit transmits a signal including at least one of the movement information and the control information to the electronic apparatus.
