The present invention can prevent moisture through a resin layer fusion unit exposed to the outside from being inserted by forming a sealing surplus unit of a battery case to include the resin layer fusion unit and a metal layer welding unit at the same time. The present invention provides a battery cell comprising: an electrode assembly of a structure including positive and negative poles and a separating film placed between the positive and negative poles; and the battery case of a structure including the sealing surplus unit wherein the outer circumference surface is sealed as the state which accommodates the electrode assembly. The battery case is formed of a laminate sheet of a structure wherein a first resin layer, a metal layer, and a second resin layer are sequentially layered from a part facing the electrode assembly. The sealing surplus unit is formed of a structure wherein first and second sheet units to be faced among laminate sheets are bonded. At least a part of the sealing surplus unit comprises: the resin layer fusion layer which is made by the first resin layer of the first sheet unit and the first resin layer of the second sheet unit; and a metal layer welding unit which is made by the end of the metal layer of the first sheet unit and the end of the metal layer of the second sheet unit.
