The present invention relates to a skin composition comprising isoflavone and panaxydol for external applications for moisturizing or whitening skin. More particularly, the present invention relates to a skin composition for external applications, which uses a synergic effect of isoflavone and panaxydol to enhance skin barrier functions and improve complexion and skin tone. Thus, the skin composition for external applications enhances skin barrier functions, suppresses generation of melanin, and exhibits effects of moisturizing skin and whitening skin by improving complexion and skin tone.
