The drive has an electrical energy generator for feeding electrical energy into a ship network. An electrical propulsion drive is supplied with the electrical energy through the ship network and has a brake device. The brake device of the electrical propulsion drive is formed as an electrical brake resistor (1). The electrical brake resistor is laid such that it is installable at a board of a marine ship. The electrical brake resistor has a metallic housing (2) with a housing frame (3) and a wall plate (4) screwable with the housing frame. |
