PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmospheric temperature prediction system with which it is possible to predict an atmospheric temperature with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An atmospheric temperature prediction system normalizes the actual values of atmospheric temperature after a time slot and creates a reference curve representing a change in atmospheric temperature per time slot; calculates a past atmospheric temperature prediction value on the basis of the past prediction values of highest and lowest atmospheric temperatures and the reference curve; calculates a prediction error in the past prediction values of atmospheric temperatures; calculates a future atmospheric temperature prediction value by an atmospheric temperature prediction unit on the basis of the future prediction values of highest and lowest atmospheric temperatures and the reference curve; and creates the probability distribution of atmospheric temperature prediction values per time slot on the basis of the future atmospheric temperature prediction value and the prediction error.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
