The present invention relates to a smartphone case. The smartphone case is provided with a case portion and a cover portion, the cover portion is provided with a transparent window, and a smartphone is mounted in the case portion. The size of the transparent window is determined such that a smartphone display can be seen in part or in whole through the transparent window even in a state where the smartphone is covered by the cover. A silicon oxide-based close contact layer is formed in the transparent window and a metallic layer is formed on the close contact layer. Accordingly, electromagnetic waves can be effectively blocked even when the transparent window is shaped to take up a large area in a front surface portion of the smartphone. Therefore, a user can be protected from the electromagnetic waves even when the smartphone is used in close contact with his or her ear. |
