[Also in Division G4] An amplifying NOR circuit for use in a fluid bi-stable storage device,Division G4,is described. A power stream input channel 3, first and second output channels 5, 7 and control signal input channels 9,11 are formed in a body 21. In the absence of a control jet the power stream flows into the channel 7 as the dividing element 27 has its tip to the right of the power stream. A signal applied to either control channel 9 or 11 will direct the power stream into the output channel 5, but it will return to the channel 7 immediately any control signals are removed. The wall 29 is shaped to improve the switching characteristics and a channel 31 prevents switching when the circuit is back-loaded.</p> |
