PURPOSE:To provide the simplified portable telephone system in which a PHP terminal equipment is called by a same telephone number even when the PHP terminal equipment (slave set) is resident in a radio wave area of a public network base station or an enterprise's base station. CONSTITUTION:The system is constituted of a simplified portable telephone public network connector 11 for connecting a private branch exchange 8 through a public network interface section 3 connecting a public network base station 2 to a simplified portable telephone public network 5, and a public network base station interface section 12 connecting a private branch of exchange 8 to the simplified portable telephone public network 5, and having a position registration request processing means registering a current position of a slave set 1 to a memory section in response to a position registration request when the slave set 1 is in existence in a radio wave area of an enterprise's base station 6 and converting the position registration request in a form grasped by the simplified portable telephone public network 5 through the reference of a conversion table of the memory section. |
