<p>An activator-frother composition of good selectivity which can be used as additional reagent for the flotation of minerals of finely ground sulfide type and as sole reagent in the treatment of flotation tailings, which consists of about 1% to 10% by weight of pine oil, about 10% to 30% by weight of sodium sulfide, about 20% to 40% by weight of sodium bicarbonate. The composition has the advantage of requiring little time of homogenization and conditioning in order to be sufficiently soluble, to be stable within a wide pH range, and not to be contaminating.</p> |
