PURPOSE:To obviate the fine adjustment of the lower dead center of the pressing punch of a pierce nut assembling device built in a press ram, and to keep the holding force of a nut to a metallic panel constant for improving the reliability of the above device. CONSTITUTION:A pierce nut automatic assembling device has a caulking die 1 to mount a metallic panel P, a pressing punch 2 which is attached to a press ram 12 through a supporting member (punch holder) 10 and opposite to the die 1, and a nut holder 3 which is attached to the supporting member 10 so as to be vertically slidable within a fixed range, and has a longitudinal hole 4 through which the pressing punch 2 is slidably inserted and a nut supply hole 5 crossing the longitudinal hole 4 at a right angle. In the device, the pressing punch 2 is attached to the supporting member 10 so as to be vertically slidable within a fixed range, and pressed toward the die 1 under a fixed pressure by the piston 23 of a hydraulic pressure cylinder 22 provided on the upside of the supporting member 10. |
