PURPOSE:To realize a cushion material made of grain hulls which can decrease environmental pollution as much as possible or eliminate it completely at a time of disposal or incineration after use, and which can be improved in the duration by preventing the grain hulls from dropping off an external surface of the cushion material and also to realize a manufacturing method of the cushion material. CONSTITUTION:Grain hulls 12 in a grain hull assembly are stuck by adhesive at their respective contacting parts and formed into a shock absorbing perforated member 14 of a prescribed shape. Further, a prescribed shape of fiber material 24 is covered on an external surface of the perforated member 14 to form a net-like fiber layer 16 all over the external surface, whereby the grain hulls 12 can be prevented from dropping off. |
