PURPOSE:To prevent adherence, sticking of tailings to a thermal head by providing an undercoating layer containing organic hollow pigment having special properties between a thermal recording layer made of aromatic isocyanate and imino compound and a support, and providing an overcoating layer on the recording layer. CONSTITUTION:An undercoating layer containing organic hollow pigment having a mean particle size of 0.1-10mum and voids of 30-90% is provided between a thermal recording layer and a support. As the pigment, styrene acrylic resin is desirable, and the thickness of the layer is desirably 18-23mum. Further, an overcoating layer is provided on the recording layer. The overcoating layer is obtained by coating with paint containing special pigment and binder. Thus, excellent head matching properties such as adherence, sticking of tailings to a thermal head are provided, and excellent recording sensitivity is obtained. |
