PURPOSE: To make a motor for adjusting a foot rest operate automatically and proportionally in the same direction with the operation of a motor for adjusting a back by using reversal electromotors as the motor for the back and the motor for the foot rest and controlling the same by switch means. CONSTITUTION: Shaft 16 is borne on parallel axes among bushes in chassis frame 10, crank arm 18 is mounted to an end of the rod of an actuator with pins, and the actuator is connected with a central control box 24. An end of arm 26 of shaft 16 is linked to a hinge point of mattress frame 40 with a light- oiled link 28. Mattress frame 40 is lifted, kept flat, or reclined toward head or foot by the operation of an actuator. Back portion 42 is arranged so as to be lifted up by actuator 58 via crank 56, and foot rest 46 is lifted by actuator 60. The angles of the components are detected by control means and are maintained proportionally. |
