PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of an electrode for negative electrode of an electroluminescent element that can form a negative electrode electrode having a fine pattern. SOLUTION: The forming method comprises a step of forming a positive electrode electrode 22 on a transparent insulating substrate 21, a step of forming on the above substrate insulating partition walls 23 of a stripe-structure that cross the positive electrode electrode and limit the pixel forming region, a step of forming an organic film pixel 24 so that it is separated at a prescribed distance by the above insulating partition walls, a step of vapor depositing a cathode type metal membrane 25 on the whole face of the result up to the step including the above organic film pixel forming, and a step of forming a negative electrode electrode 25a that exposes the prescribed part of the insulating partition walls by implementing an etching process using laser beam on the cathode type metal membrane. |
